Leather weather

Can you believe it’s already April? The past few months just flew over as if someone has forwarded them and with the blooming magnolia trees I started to bloom again! I wish I could spend every second outside in the sun savoring frozen yogurts, preferably near the magnolia trees or at best right under them.

With the new season not only my mood and the weather changed but also my wardrobe staples have adapted. My warm Ugg boots disappeared in the back corner of my closet, where my sandals used to wait until their time comes, and the down jackets, which were bursting out of my drawers like salmon in a sushi roll, switched places with leather and jeans jackets. So it’s finally leather weather!

I own a handful of leather jackets which have piled up in my closet over the years (a girl just can’t help herself sometimes) and they are always my got-to when I’m in a hurry or not sure what to wear. But my newest purchase surpasses all the others! Not due an eye-catching detail or a striking color, but because of its simplicity and quality. Simple silver zippers ensure that the jacket fits to my jewelry and the quality of the leather promises a long lifetime without a lot of hideous scratches and marks. A robust companion for the transitional season!

If you have followed my previous “culinary adventures” (which I reported here and here) then you would already know about the juicery Greentrees in Düsseldorf. But I need to rave about it again! As usually my mum and I ordered the banana bread and the avocado toast. In addition to that I also tried out their bircher bowl, a new favorite of mine! I promise you will leave Greentrees with a grin from ear to ear!
