As I already told you in my London memories article (catch up on it here) I’ve been on a school trip with my english class last week. So let’s talk fish and chips, since we spent about four days in London! The bus trip from Germany to the UK was pure horror but we were all the more fortunate with the weather! Sun in London? I occasionally had to slap myself to see if I’m dreaming!
It wasn’t my first stay in London so I was quite curious if we would visit some places I haven’t been to before. And I providentially have to say that this trip complemented my previous visits perfectly! I actually got to see totally new corners and districts of London as well as thousands of museums! It’s save to say that we visited at least one museum every day. The Natural History museum was my clear favorite out of all of them! Next to impressive dinosaur skeletons you can also gape at the 30 meter long skeleton of a blue whale as well as the largest meteorite collection in the world. I could have spent plenty of hours in this museums if not even days! A further highlight was our day trip to Oxford. A beautiful city full of cunning students and breathtaking architecture. Thankfully we always had some free time in the evening, which we usually used for quick shopping trips on the oxford street. Sometimes a girl’s just gotta do what a girl’s gotta do and while being in London that’s obviously shopping! The Topshop flagship store meant the final death for my wallet. But I’ve got absolutely no regrets!
